Cardboard Video Project
For Easter at Woodmen Valley Chapel, I had the privilege of working as the Art Director for this short story bumper. The sermon series, found HERE, was focused on 1 Corinthians 15-16 and titled Hold Fast. The story is engaging, whimsical, and hopeful, focusing on the exhortation of holding fast to the hope God has called us, and the characters and cardboard world reflect these attributes and help tell the story.

I crafted several characters for the story, including crew members, passengers, and the main characters. Each one required various iterations in order to capture the mood and feelings evoked throughout the drama.
Some of the most clever installments – the props throughout the whole video – bring everything together and really fill out the whimsical world, bringing it to life.
